For Windows 95/98/ME/NT4 with Office
XP:
Download
Microsoft Global IME for Office XP, and follow the installation
instructions.
Once installed Japanese pages will automatically be displayed in
the correct character set.
After installation it might be necessary to restart your computer.
If a webpage still isn't displayed correcty, you can force the
encoding in Internet Explorer by clicking View > Encoding >
Shift_JIS or EUC (Shift_JIS is the most commonly used encoding).
For Windows 95/98/ME/NT4 users without
Office XP:
Download Microsoft Global IME,
and follow the installation instructions.
You can also download Global IME for Office XP
if you plan to install Office XP at a later time.

the correct character set.
